Advantage for cats is a great product and Amazon had the best price at the time I made my purchase. There were other vendors who were cheaper but they weren’t selling the USA product. My vet cautioned me about using the product that was produced in other countries and then imported. They may be as good as the real deal or they may not be — I don’t want to take a chance with my little girl.

what can I say? I ordered it through Amazon, it was cheaper, worked better than Frontline, and cat is still flea and tick free, and there are no problems, and I saved about $20. I only had to click one time on amazon, and it shows up, I put it on the cat. All told it couldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes from ordering to flea free cat. I guess this is a review and comment about the total ease in using Amazon.com. Will certainly use again. Thank you.

I’ve used only this flea treatment since it was first introduced. It really gets rid of fleas . . . fast! It’s safe for the cats and very convenient to use. I have one indoor and one indoor/outdoor cat. I treat the indoor cat less often because fewer fleas are brought into the house by the in/out cat. I recommend this product over all the other flea products out there. Amazon’s price can’t be beat!

I have been using this for a year on my dog and 3 cats. As long as you put it on at the same time every month, you will have no problems with fleas. I don’t see them scratch and itch during the month, and I never see any fleas. You spend a little more for it but it is worth it.

This product worked fine. We have an inside cat that is allergic to fleas and she gets them very very easily. After the first application she still has a few fleas but this is typical of any product we have tried so far. After the next application they will be all gone.
This product was also a lot easier to use than some of the others we have tried.

While I know Advantage works perfectly, as I’ve used it before, I decided to order through Amazon, and specifically AbsolutelyPets, and wouldn’t you know it, I just found a flea on my couch. Not only did they send me the wrong amount (thankfully, so I could get a partial refund for this non-working substance) it wasn’t in the box, and I"m pretty convinced it’s fake, since it hasn’t worked at all. And now I get to go out and buy it from a REPUTABLE place, and will spread the word that AbsolutelyPets is AbsolutelyAwful.

To put it simply, Advantage is fast acting and very powerful. My cats got fleas from the new house I moved into and suffered due to them. The biggest problem aside from the irritation from bites was the dander and skin problems that arose from the fleas. After a single treatment, I stopped seeing fleas within 2 days and the skin problems were gone within the next few. This product is of course for inside cats only. My only complaint is that in its curent container it is a little difficult to apply on long haired cats. It is also a little pricey at retailers, but online it is cheaper you just have to wait for it to arrive. All in all an excellent choice for flea extermination.

I had used another Flea Treatment for many years and it worked great until the last few years. I asked a dog sitter I had if they could recommend something else as what I was using didn’t seem to work any more.

This medicine is good for protection against fleas, but it doesn’t have tic medicine. There are thousands of species of tics out there - it is not a good idea to leave your animal unprotected. There are many types of tics out there that will kill your family pet.

I highly recommend Advantage. We had always used Advantage, but we bought Frontline b/c that’s all the vet had at that time. Unfortunately, we could tell the difference very soon afterward. Our dog was constantly scratching, and we would see fleas crawling over her after every time we took her out, something we never saw while she was on Advantage. We bought the Advantage (even though we didn’t finish the Frontline), and within a few days, the fleas disappeared, and haven’t returned. We won’t buy anything else.

I actually purchased this product from Amazon after my veterinarian’s office stopped selling Advantage and instead sells K9 Advantix now. Because I thought perhaps Advantage had changed the look of the box, I tried the K9 Advantix on my pug for about 3 months (I also used the one for cats on my cat for 2 months). After all of that time using the K9, my husband was sitting on the couch and a flea jumped on him. We have NEVER had fleas in our house, NEVER! We had always used Advantage on our animals and by this time I had realized it was definately a different product. The K9 Advantix was returned to the vet, and I purchased the Advantage from Amazon. I have not seen a flea, and the animals stopped itching and scratching since applying the Advantage. The only thing, the Advantage doesn’t repell other pesky insects. So, if you have ticks in your yard (which thank goodness we don’t) then your dog will get ticks.

I have used Advantage on my dogs for 10 years. We do not have ticks where I live otherwise I’d switch to Advantix. Since Advantage has worked fine for all my dogs, I see no reason to change.

When I got my puppy I was given 2 coupon packs for Frontline. I gave those away because I am not going to switch. I do not want the dogs on different flea meds. So for me once an Advantage user, always and Advantage user.

We bought Advantage rather than Frontline or Advantix to save a couple bucks, and our 60lb hound stopped scratching for a bit, but she developed this really foul odor shortly after we applied it. Within 2 days the stink was so bad we had to bathe her. It’s been a couple weeks now and she’s scratching again and i can see flea dirt on her belly. Hopefully entirelypets.com has a good return policy. I think our Redbone will stick with Advantix instead…

Product works as expected. I get one dog and two cats out of the largest 4.0 ml dosage (>55lb dosage). The concentration is the same on this product regardless of the size. You just get more with the larger doses which can be used on your cats or other dogs as well. Note: Advantix and Advantage multi are for dogs only and should not be used on cats.
